Denise W. Fairley is an educator and High School Mathematics Teacher in Washington, D.C.
With 10 years of experience, Denise has worked with students of diverse backgrounds and loves working with African American youth. She has taught various levels of high school mathematics and has been very successful in preparing students to show mastery both in the classroom and on state assessments. Denise has served as a lead teacher, mentor teacher, and has received the honor of Teacher of the Year.
Denise is very passionate about the success of her students and takes the responsibility of helping them reach their full potential very seriously.
Denise graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina State University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education. She is currently earning her Master’s in Education with a focus on teacher leadership in minority and urban Education from the University of Maryland, College Park.
