There is nothing like earning extra cash during the summer. So let’s make sure that you are well prepared for your job interview.

Be on time to the interview. Arrive a few minutes early to show your future employer that you are punctual and are serious about getting a job.
Be prepared. Bring your resume, a list of references, and a note pad to take notes. They may not ask for these things but it is better to have them. You may also want to take the time to think about how you would answer certain questions. Think about your positive attributes and why you believe they should hire you.
Do a little research on the company. Have questions ready that you may want to ask in the interview. Companies will be happy that you have taken such interest in their business.
Be polite and professional during your interview. Good manners go a long way with people.
Dress appropriately for the interview. Even if you do not think you need to dress up, first impressions mean everything and you want to present your best self.
Be confident. You want the employer to see that you are the best candidate for this position.

Lastly, follow up your interview with a thank you note. It is perfectly fine to email a thank you note or send a paper thank you note to the person who interviewed you. Good luck! I know you will do great!
