Organization can be a learned skill. However, there are people with certain personality types where organization comes a little easier to them.
Being organized is an important skill to have because it helps you become more productive, more efficient and more successful in the long run. Here are some ways to stay organized:

•Keep and use a calendar. If buying a calendar and writing in it works for you, great. For others, use the calendar that may already be on your cell phone to add things such as when assignments are due, practice/meeting times, etc.
•Use checklists. I always keep sticky notes on my desk so that I can jot down things that I need to do. I also have an app on my phone that posts sticky notes on a board to help me remember if I’m not at my desk.
•Clean! Clean! Clean! Pick a day each week to clean up and remove all clutter. Clean out your bags, i.e. book bag, equipment bag, etc., clean out your notebooks and clean up your room.
