Thanks to tea, coffee, chocolate, candy, soda and who knows what else, our pretty teeth can easily be stained. Honey, who wants stained teeth while rocking a pretty shade of red on your lips? No worries, I’m going to give y’all a few tips to keep your teeth fresh and WHITE!!!!
BAKING SODA: When dissolved in water, baking soda whitens (and cleans) teeth by effectively scraping off the yellow and brown stains that form with age and wear – ultimately giving a much whiter appearance.
You can get toothpaste with baking soda in it, but I just like to dip my toothbrush in pure baking soda for a more effective outcome. Don’t worry, a box of baking soda isn’t expensive – it’s less than $2. Baking soda is also great for other uses around the house, but this is a beauty blog and who wants to hear about how good it cleans toilets. LOL!
Here are some other remedies my fresh-faced beauties swear by.
1) For whiter teeth, mix the following on a small plate:
1 tsp baking soda
dash of salt
a few drops of white vinegar, which will foam
Brush with the mixture followed by toothpaste.
2) Use an eye make-up remover pad and put extra virgin olive oil on it.
Rub it on all your visible teeth for 5-10 minutes. The length of time will depend on how much of a difference you want to see on your teeth. Afterward, brush your teeth with regular toothpaste.
